A leader in Qigong for wellness, a trainer for many Qigong Masters.

  • Master Chunyi Lin is the founder and creator of Spring Forest Qigong. Since 1995, his personal-study Qigong programs have positively transformed the lives of over 750,000 students, while his Qigong Teacher/Healer Certification programs have trained more than 400 Qigong professionals.

Gadu Doushin, Qigong Master

Gadu has been studying Spring Forest Qigong (SFQ) since 2008. He was personally selected to work with Qigong Grand Master Chunyi Lin at Spring Forest Qigong Healing Center in 2015 where he worked as a staff Qigong healer and instructor. He also served as a faculty member of Energy Healing International, an educational arm of Spring Forest Qigong and trained certified Qigong teachers and healers. In 2017, Gadu was presented the title of Spring Forest Qigong Master and Master Teacher by Master Lin. In 2020, he left SFQ Healing Center to focus on his private healing practice, Heart of Tao Resonance Art (https://doushinresonance.com), where he teaches daily Qigong classes and see individual clients. Gadu believes that a Qigong healer is a guide for the healing journey of the clients. Sometimes he will balance their energy to lighten the load and sometimes he gives directions when the clients feel stuck or lost in their practice. He describes his philosophy as a healer with a Japanese phrase “Yorisou” (寄り添う) which means to stand by and support with love and care.

Munira Jiwa, Qigong Master

Spring Forest Qigong Master and Spreader of Qi~Joy based out of Calgary, Alberta, Canada  but with a global reach at www.MuniraJiwa.ca. Munira experienced a profound healing transformation from her chronic neck and back pain in 2005 after discovering Spring Forest Qigong (SFQ).

Munira was the first certified SFQ instructor in Canada and has been teaching since 2009. She is certified to teach Level 1, 2 & 3. She has been instrumental and is passionate about building and growing the SFQ community in Calgary and throughout Canada.

She is passionate about empowering others through instructing and sharing the practice. Coupled with her training and experience as a Physical Therapist and Feng Shui, Munira is a sought after speaker and educator in Calgary’s Health and Wellness community.

Munira offers in person as well as online workshops and coaching/ healing sessions.

Jerry Wellik, Qigong Master

Qigong Master Jerry Wellik has been practicing Spring Forest Qigong (SFQ) since 2000. He was granted title Qigong Master by Grandmaster Chunyi Lin in 2015. Jerry is a master teacher and healer and became a Certified Instructor (CI) of SFQ Level 1,2,3 in 2018. He has led SFQ practice groups for the past 16 years. Jerry is interested in story-listening and poetry which he incorporates into his teaching. He is Professor Emeritus of Special Education and continues working with teachers, teachers-in-training and schools. He was invited to collaborate with Nancy and Siu-ling on the development of the curriculum and handbook and is grateful for the opportunity.

Misa Tsuyoshi

Misa is a Certified Healer, Certified Trainer, Certified Instructor. She is one of the first SFQ professionals certified by the Energy Healing International. Every class feedback shows the highest satisfaction from the students, and she has been awarded 2018 Trainer of the Year and 2019 Teacher of the year. Misa loves presenting SFQ—leading practices at Master of Qi conferences, Qigong Every day, Qi Circle, Qi Talk. She also has shared SFQ in different settings: Wellness programs for Medical College of WI interns and employees/community health wellness related conferences/events/local TV programs in addition to actively teaching SFQ Level 1,2 and 3. Her path crossed with SFQ when she was recovering from a cancer removal surgery in 2012, and she has experienced not only a fast recovery but also transformations in different aspects of her life. Since them she has been a devoted learner and practitioner of SFQ and dedicated to share this “practice of heart” as a teacher/healer. She has been helping her aging parents in Japan remotely and she is the primary helper/healer for her husband who suffered a major health incident in 2020. She also has been helping others in her community (big and small).

Sue Crites

Sue is a Certified Spring Forest Qigong Instructor and Master Healer living outside of Athabasca, AB, Canada. Sue teaches Levels 1, 2, & 3 and leads a global online practice community (since 2018). She is passionate about empowering others to create a life that lights them up. She deeply believes that true wellness encompasses not only physical, emotional, and spiritual health but also fulfilment of one’s life purpose and a connection to natural elements. Sue experienced profound healing from chronic hip & joint pain, sinus congestion, anxiety, depression, and worry and credits her qigong practice and Master Lin’s teachings in helping her create a life she loves! Although her main focus is Qigong, Sue has a Master’s Degree in Science, is a retired Research Scientist, and is a practitioner of Auricular Medicine and Holistic Nutrition. Sue’s passion is helping women (and a few men!) all over the world slow down and tune in to their own spirit, so they can live healthy, fulfilling, and inspired lives. Rong Li

A staff healer at the Spring Forest Qigong Healing Center and the highest level of Spring Forest Qigong Instructor Certification; Rong follows the foot-steps of her grandfather as a healer, yet discover her own path with SFQ in a ever expanding way.  She use Qigong to help people heal and to awaken their true power within, everyday.

Richard Babboni

Richard has been studying and practicing Qigong and Tai Chi for more than 20 years, both in the USA and in Italy. He is an accomplished business leader, who has an undergraduate engineering degree, an international MBA, and over 25 years of executive leadership experience. Richard first discovered Grand Master Chunyi Lin’s teachings when he read “Born a Healer” nearly 15 years ago, and has been actively practicing Spring Forest Qigong since the summer of 2018. In 2019 he attended live training classes for levels 1-4, and also became a SFQ Certified Practice Group leader. In 2021 he became a SFQ Certified Trainer and he offers regular Level 1 Qi Activation certification classes in addition to leading a weekly free 5 Elements practice group via Zoom on Sundays (learn more at www.qienergycoach.com).

Nancy Havera

Nancy: Nancy Havera has been a Spring Forest Qigong practitioner since 2007. She became a Certified Practice Group leader in 2008. In 2010, she began her journey as a SFQ Certified Level One instructor. In 2013, Nancy was recognized as an SFQ Legacy Master Healer. In 2021, Nancy humbly received the award for Most Couragous Teacher, along with three others. Teaching, growing, and sharing are part of Nancy’s soul purpose. Nancy is a retired Spanish teacher with an on-going love for continued work in any classroom. She has taken Spring Forest Qigong into local schools (K-12) to complement Social and Emotional Learning Curriculum. Nancy also created a FB group called “Kids of All Ages Practicing Spring Forest Qigong” that presents Qiful living lessons for children. Nancy is currently working on a second volume of a handbook for Kids of All Ages Engaging in Qiful Perspectives for Life with SFQ Master Jerry Wellik and SFQ Certified Trainer Siu-Ling Bisogno Hau. Nancy and her husband live on a farm in central Illinois where they have planted almost 100,000 trees to help restore the land and provide habitat for wildlife. Bringing Spring Forest Qigong into this setting has greatly enriched the energies of many people and all other life forms in the region.

Ann Minoff

Ann Minoff has a lifelong interest in taking care of one’s health and well being. She graduated from New York University with a B.A. in Philosophy and in 1982 she graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. After ten years as a chiropractor an almost fatal car accident in 1993 forced her to explore new ways of bringing the body back to wellness.

Yvette Falconer

Yvette has been a SFQ Certified Instructor and Healer since 2013 and has studied to Level 5 with Master Chunyi Lin. Her healing/healer path began with a near death experience in 2009, as she mastered Reiki & Chakra therapy, prior to her discovery of SFQ in 2009. Yvette fills her own cup with Qigong and her Buddhist practices and retreats.

Emily Jarrett Hughes

My name is Emily Jarrett Hughes and I am a healer, teacher, dancer, and mother living in Minneapolis. The vitality and joy I find in Spring Forest Qigong were a lifeline through a major health crisis and are the inspiration for my teaching and healing practice. I have studied Spring Forest Qigong since 2006, completing Level 5, and am a Certified Healer and Certified Trainer. I have a healing practice and also lead a weekly drop-in qigong practice group as well as a monthly advanced practice group at the new moon. In addition to qigong I teach dance as a tool for healing and transformation. Everything that I do leans into the interrelationship between healing ourselves, healing the water, and healing the world. Sarah Adams Marr Dumas

Kathryn Hanson

Kathryn has always been drawn to working with energetics and natural health in caring for her family, friends and community. Encountering Spring Forest Qigong was an instant match with her innate awareness and tender heart.

In Kathryn’s experience working with individuals can blossom into empowering entire families. When our definition of ‘family members’ includes pets, the healing process takes on a new dimension. Raising awareness of animals as healers in families is also part of her work.

Since 2009 Kathryn has been teaching SFQ and is a Legacy Master Healer and Certified Trainer. She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Minnesota.

On a personal note, Kathryn recently moved to a small town in Northwest Indiana where she is enjoying the slower pace of life and connecting with the land. She is the Mother of two very independent young women and loves singing and the performing arts.

Siuling: Siuling Bisogno Hau’s journey with Spring Forest Qigong began in 2017. She went on to become Certified as a Practice Group leader in 2020 and share Spring Forest Qigong with people all over the world. In 2021 she began her training to become a SFQ Certified Level One Trainer , and currently teaches Qi activation level one training online. In early 2022 Siuling begun the Spring Forest Qigong Certified Healer training, and will continue to refine her Qigong through studies , service , practice and training. Teaching , and supporting peoples learning are at the center of Siuling’s passion and purpose. She recently retired from her active role as an educator in the early childhood education setting and set her intention to open the classroom to a bigger audience and share the great benefits of SFQ. Siuling has shared Spring Forest Qigong in Early childhood centres & kinder gardens, along with mindfulness and kindness curriculums that support Social and Emotional development. Siuling is currently collaborating with Certified Master Healer Nancy Havera and Master Jerry Wellik creating illustrations for volume 2 of a handbook Inspired by SFQ. She also collaborates on Nancy’s FB page “Kids of All Ages Practicing Spring Forest Qigong” which shares lessons for children, and is currently developing wellbeing workshops for educators . She has also participated in community art projects since 2020 with the purpose of creating joy in the community, and delights in making teaching props and educational resources for educators and children. Héctor (Vimarsha) Campero is a licensed psychologist, psychotherapist, Meditation Teacher and Spring Forest Qigong Certified Healer. He managed Master Lin’s 3 visits to México and is about to publish a book on healing emotional blocks with Spring Forest Qigong.

Istvan Cserven

Istvan Cserven has been studying Spring Forest Qigong for 15 years. During that time he has attained the status of level 4 practitioner. Over his many years as a teacher and coach he has gained extensive experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds. Through the Healing Retreats and trainings with Master Lin, Istvan has developed a clear understanding of how Spring Forest Qigong applies to everyday life. Istvan’s primary focus in teaching is the flow of energy through the body; “Just feel IT” as Master Lin says! Whether working with school kids, teaching dance, or instructing Qigong, his goal is to help people improve all aspects of their lives.

Katrina Tobey, Qigong Master

Qigong Master Katrina Tobey has a lifelong career emphasis on creating and developing innovative community-based healing programs, especially with under served and vulnerable people. Examples of her advocacy and development work include programs for young people at risk for suicide and other violence; community advocacy programs addressing domestic violence; treatment program for persons convicted of sexual crimes; community support programs to facilitate mothers suffering from addictions to have access to treatment opportunities for themselves and their children; advocacy for victims of sexual assault. She believes that education is the key to safer and healthier families and communities. She is a valued presenter in community forums, higher education, as a clinical supervisor for other therapists, and with Spring Forest Qigong.

Since 2005, Master Lin’s vision “A Healer in Every Family and A World Without Pain and Suffering” is also her purpose in life. She has been active in helping create Spring Forest teaching programs since 2007. In 2015, she was granted the title of Qigong Master by Master Lin, the highest award honoring a Spring Forest Qigong practitioner. She is also a Master Teacher and Healer, and as a faculty member of Energy Healing International, she is responsible for co-developing and teaching curriculum for Energy Healing International’s certification programs.

The teachings of Spring Forest Qigong are the foundation by which she lives her life as a Psychologist, a Family Therapist and in all her Mothering roles! Everyday she is eternally grateful to Master Lin and the Spring Forest community for healing the world!

Jaci Gran, Qigong Master

Qigong Master Jacqueline Gran has been passionate about energy and the energy transformation and art for as long as she can remember. She has been practicing and studying Spring Forest Qigong since 1999.

At the Spring Forest Qigong Healing Center, Jaci oversees our Initial Appointments, offers Qigong and Qi~ssage healing appointments. She is one of Spring Forest Qigong Masters leading regularly scheduled Healing Circles with Qigong Healing Movements.Jaci is continually called upon to speak about the power of qigong in everyday living and illness recovery to local groups, and conferences throughout the world.

My passion is to help people explore who they are with Spring Forest Qigong so they can peel back the layers to discover their creativity, their unbounded love of life.”
